These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 4got2cancel mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Service"), operated by 4got2cancel ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

4got2cancel is a subscription tracking and reminder application designed to help users monitor recurring subscriptions, free trials, and upcoming renewal charges.
The App provides:
- subscription tracking tools,
- reminder notifications,
- estimated spending insights,
- and related informational features.
4got2cancel does not process payments, cancel subscriptions on your behalf, or act as a financial institution.
No Financial Advice
The App is provided for informational purposes only.
We do not provide financial, legal, or accounting advice.
Any spending estimates, savings calculations, or reports are non-binding approximations.
You are solely responsible for verifying subscription terms, prices, renewal dates, and cancellation policies with the respective service providers.
Use of the App does not replace your responsibility to manage your financial commitments.
User Responsibilities
You agree that:
- All information you enter into the App is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You are responsible for maintaining and updating your subscription data.
- You understand that reminders and notifications may fail due to technical limitations.
- You acknowledge that missed cancellations or charges remain your sole responsibility.
Reminders and Notifications
The App may send notifications via:
- push notifications,
- email reminders,
- or other communication methods you enable.
We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered on time or at all.
Reasons reminders may fail include but are not limited to:
- device settings,
- disabled permissions,
- operating system restrictions,
- connectivity issues,
- third-party service outages.
You are encouraged to use multiple reminder methods and verify important dates independently.
Calendar Integration (If Enabled)
If you choose to enable calendar synchronization:
- Events are created based on the information you provide.
- You are responsible for reviewing and managing these events.
- We are not responsible for calendar-related errors, duplications, or deletions.
Calendar access is optional and can be revoked at any time via device settings.
Accounts and Authentication
To use certain features, you may be required to create an account.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
- all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Plan
The Free plan provides limited functionality.
Pro Plan
The Pro plan is offered as an auto-renewing subscription.
Subscription fees are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Payments are handled exclusively by the platform provider.
We do not store or process payment information.
Free Trial
If offered, a free trial automatically converts into a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
Cancellation and Refunds
Subscriptions must be canceled via your App Store or Google Play account.
We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
Refund requests are subject to Apple or Google policies.
We do not guarantee refunds.
No Guarantee of Savings
4got2cancel does not guarantee:
- financial savings,
- successful subscription cancellations,
- avoidance of charges.
"Potential savings" and "saved so far" figures are estimates based on user-provided data.
Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and process personal data.
By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and software associated with the App are the exclusive property of 4got2cancel or its licensors.
You may not:
- copy,
- modify,
- distribute,
- reverse engineer,
- or exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- misuse the App,
- interfere with its operation,
- attempt unauthorized access,

Violation may result in account termination.
Service Availability

Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available".
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

- uninterrupted service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
4got2cancel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 4got2cancel from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- your use of the App,
- violation of these Terms,
- misuse of the Service.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination:
- your right to use the App ends immediately,
- data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
